Built three Kliché Minis and I like how they turned out. Got the polished enclosures from Small Bear. I finished them and boxed them up with standard footswitches before realizing… damn I gotta get gold footswitches on these things! Didn’t even try desoldering the footswitch PCBs off of the footswitches, just ordered three more and desoldered the wires off the main PCB. So.. now I have three footswitches with the Kliche footswitch boards on them haha.
I socketed the diodes to try different sets. 1N270 and D9B sound pretty close to each other. Tried 1N914 just to see how it sounded. A little different but not bad. Might try a few more.
I noticed that one of them still has volume when the volume pot is all the way down. Kind of weird, anyone seen that before?
The Kliché was a nice and easy build, and it sounds great.
Kind of difficult to get a good picture of the polished enclosures, but I’m digging the look.
