So a little more than a year ago I started down this DIY pedal wormhole. I got the landtone klon klone from Amazon. The circuit was decent enough on the klone but the pots always bothered me. They used split shaft pots but gave screw knobs. !@#%. Cut to a year later I'm looking for projects to stay busy and I decide maybe I can just change out the pots. Not able to do that without offboard wiring them. So I ordered the Kliche'.
I thought I had a decent stash of resistors going on but DANG this thing uses a lot of screwball values! The only thing that didn't match right up to the landtone box was the LED....no problems there. I'm much happier with proper pots and it actually sounds MORE TRANSPARENT!
