LED polarity

Here is the CORRECT way ...

JACK DC PINOUT.jpeg
With the +9V for the board at the TOP
Ground at the BOTTOM.

Any deviation from this is WRONG!

Is there a master list somewhere with LED square pad designatio for various other vendors? I have 30-40 pcbs almost finished except for leds cuz I forget which one is which. I know Aion is reverse of PPCB leds. I forget with GCI, DEFX, Zerogiod and *Other pedals?

If nothing else, you can look at trace and see which side goes to the clear. Or, you can use your DMM to see which pad has voltage.

This confused me at first and I still don't like the square being used for the cathode. It seems wrong with other components where the square pad is for pin1 or positive. But it is what it is. I mean, current flow is backwards from physics afterall. :)
