Let's See Your Amps

I've never been to Winnipeg, nor have I heard of Garnet before, but I am a big Weakerthans fan. Everything I know about Winnipeg I learned from them 🤣

My on again, off again amp.....okay so technically they ALL are on/off...

I gave this one to my son, but my brand new Mesa Booger sounds like a tiny warzone with all the crackling and popping, so it's boxed and RMA'd .... yeah bummer right?

This is a Fender Blues Jr IV Special 1X12 combo. It sports an antiqued lacquer tweed and an Eminence RWB.

I used a BJr III with the "NOS lacquer" and a host of BillM mods as my main gigging amp for 3-4 years. It was a great little amp and I never shoulda sold it.. (I used the proceeds to fund a 68 Custom Vibrolux Reissue, which suuuuuucked with overdrive. Worst amp purchase to date!)

I really liked it when I first had it (which was about a week..hah). I've got it on a tilt stand w/ mic boom atm (shure 57). It's a great recorder at lower output ( master volume is always a must have for me ). The RWB is pretty warm overall, but has a bit of brittleness when pushed.

This isn't mine, but I snapped a pic of my daughter's stringed rig. When I first saw that amp, I could only picture a Globe Trotter 8 transistor radio.

Slightly older pic of my rig. Schecter Stiletto Stealth with an Orange Terror Bass and OBC115. This is my first actual head and cabinet combo and it is ridonkulously loud. Not that I get to actually turn it up that high, but the point is that it can if the need arises. Added a pic of my current board. Signal chain is into the Signal Blender, out to the Darkglass Alpha Omega Ultra and a Parentheses Fuzz Mini (soon to swap out for a fullsize Parentheses), then all out to the Darkglass Element for Headphone practice, or out to the Terror Bass.

Finally got my rack tray wired up and buttoned down....after testing all my OD's these made the cut and sound great with my 4 preamps...cant say enuff on how i Love that Muzzle...glad i built 2...on the wait list for when the chip is available

I hooked my All Access controller up last night....so this long project is almost done...i would have put the PedalPCB Klone in the tray but needed a side jack vs a top jack...thats my input

I broke these out and are going to revist them , have a few new amps....every pedal has its own unique sound so....ill build a smaller board with the winners..!

Once again...us rack guys have to deal with ground hum, do a lot of trouble shooting ...head scratching ..take Advil then more Advil.....spent more $$ on hum exterminators..do even more head scratching cause it didnt work..on and on

I put that Muzzle with the side key in the rack tray , Drives thru the side and the rear jacks in the last loop for my Pre amps on the Patchmate8.....you can hear a pin drop now

I told a few people how i solved my problem, yea...that won't work you need this and do that .... spend more money....well ok ..good luck, my problems solved ..lol

Anyways best money spent on a pedal build ive built....

I have a back up...friends come over, oh no .....dont you dare touch that...lol
