Let's See Your Amps

Here's my corner. I used to have more but consolidated to what I actually used and really enjoyed. The Tungsten buckwheat on top is my tweed amp. It's a modded 5e3 on steroids. 35 watts, 6l6s, big iron and oversized cab with celestion g12h-30. Can give me all the tweed tones and up to jtm 45 tones with the channels jumpered. The vintage sound sc35 on the bottom is a single channel ab763 with 35 watts, 6l6s, big iron and a celestion g12-65. Most of playing is at night so I'm running thru the two notes captor and can m+ while everyone sleeps. Not pictured is my ampeg ss bass amp.
I read your description of the Tungsten and thought "Have you read that aloud to yourself??" 35W into a 30W speaker? :ROFLMAO: I'm sure it's fine, but maybe one day...

FWIW I love a Gold in a 5E3.

I picked this over a Magnatone....so very glad I did. A very rich, full sound.

It sports 4-12AX7s, 2-12AT7s for the preamp, 2-6V6 on the output, and a 5AR4 tube rectifier. The tube-driven verb & vibe are exactly what you're looking for. The Jenson C12Q does a more than adequate job of pumping out the entire spectrum with a warm and tight response. Now, I don't have any glory shots (yet) but ....here's my new 1964 Hand-wired Custom Deluxe Reverb.

It's an American Vintage, so circa 2012-2015 (the originals start around a mid class sedan and range to a detached 2-story in a halfway decent burg). I was just chatting with the previous owner who lives about an hour and a half from me (unless you're driving a mower), who said he re-strung it and played for about 2 hours in a melancholy goodbye groove......kinda makes you feel bad for him....not me though!...Sweet guitar!
