Low Tide transistor and IC question

Performing some research on the forums I found that some have subbed the 2SK30 with a J201 and the LM258 and MCP602 with LM358s. Is this the general consensus?

I've used J201. I didn't side-by-side A/B it with a 2SK so I can't compare how they performed, but it seemed to work fine.

I can't comment on the opamps.

I just looked back at my last build report - I did a few of these, and it looks like I used NE5532 in place of the MCP602s. I'm sure I did that in response to someone else here saying that worked for them.
