I checked ground connections and soldering. Nothing appears to be shorting. Only thing that comes to mind is that I have an electrolytic cap that's rated for 10v but it doesn't get hot or anything. Any other ideas as to where this noise comes from? It overpowers the guitar signal quite a bit. Thanks in advance!
