Multiple leds and clr value

This isn't for a specific pedal, but I guess it's a mod.
I'm building a Muroidea distortion. I wanted to run 2 leds in series to make eyes for the rat graphics on the pedal.
I usually use a 4k7 clr with one led having a drop of 1k5ish.
Do I just assume using 2 leds with a 1k5 drop in series I can reduce my clr to 3k2 so the brightness of the leds will be as normal with one led.

That's what my brain is telling me, but my dumb jerk brain is frequently wrong!!!

you could use a resistor from .5k-1k ( for precaution ) inline with a 5k trimmer to adjust to the desired brightness, no sense in overthinking it too much.

Independent CLRs for each LED is the "correct" way to do so as each LED can draw slightly different current.
You can just jumper the CLR on board and run the clrs as a wire to the led positions with heatshrink
