Need a chonky 3pdt toggle

Hi!

I am in need of an on/on 3pdt toggle for a desktop headphone amp/cab sim I’m putting together.

Looking for something with some heft, like a clunk, not the petite little click you get when you use a tayda switch. I want to know this thing is on.

Searched LMS, Tayda and SBP, didn’t see anything really.

Any suggestions?

If you can't find what you're looking for in a 3PDT you could use pretty much any switch to control a relay (or pair of relays) and accomplish the same task.

I've seen some pretty chonky switches like described at automotive shops and hardware stores in the electrician's section.

Might have seen them at Princess Auto, too.

I could get them at the electronics street in HK, Ap Lui Do.

If you want a good clunk, there's all these footswitches that would do the trick. Put a plastic cap on it, and you got a "turning on a machine" like effect. Anyway, I'd search on Ebay for one of those vintage switches; it's your best bet for finding a robust / industrial variation of these. Cuttler Hammer brand has a lot of nice options and are quite readily available. Not cheap, but hey... If you want a hefty feel, you have to spend some money.
