Was really enjoying it, right up until the uhm vocalist joined in. Great interlude with the fretless bass, too.
Usually I click off as soon as I hear this type of vox — it's like durian fruit: does nothing for me, just not to my taste but I get that other people like it — I liked the music so much, though, I played this one through to the end. Never done that before.
Speaking of fretless instrumetal...
There's a few projects that Steve DiGiorgio has played that were instrumental, and I think he's got another instrumental album coming out soon...

That Spooky Tooth tune sounds similar to Sweet Leaf by Black Sabbath. Just an observation.

Listening now. I think that's the same R2R machine I'm trying to decide if I need. Teac 40-4. Also Tape-Op is sweet. Just got my print issue yesterday. Can't beat the $0 subscription price.

That album was made on that recorder, which is why it's on the cover. Not sure if you can read it without a sub, but here's the (very short) interview.
Also, I've been signed up for a few issues now but have never gotten a physical copy. I bought the box set, though, so I can at least access all of the back catalog and podcasts/recorded interviews. It's given me a lot to listen to and read over the past few months.
