Paragon Buffer shoe-in

Hi all.
In an attempt to rid my paragon build of its higher-gain squeal (both sides on at near full beans), I’m about to build a klon-style buffer circuit on vero board to fit inside the enclosure. There’s no battery, so plenty of room.
Would I be right in thinking that the input in the image connects to input jack tip and the output to the pcb’s input (where the wire from input tip would usually go)?

if you want to keep true bypass on the pedal instead of having an always-on buffered input, the input to the VERO would come from the footswitch "IN' and the output would go into the PCB "IN"

Thank you. I'll be going for the "always on" option so just needed confirmation that I had the wiring worked out correctly :)
