Parallel Dual Pedal Grounding Question

Hi everyone,
A friend asked me to build him a parallel dual compressor that separately compresses his dry and wet pedal chains in one pedal enclosure (two inputs and two outputs). The two circuits have no interaction, but the grounding has me a little worried. Should I try to keep the grounds of the two circuits separated with an isolated voltage regulator or is it safe to connect the grounds? I want to avoid creating a loop with the two pedal chains. Thanks!

No need to be concerned about separate grounds. They would be joined at the signal points anyway. Applying a star type of grounding should be adequate.
