Parasit Studio Theramin Fuzz - 250k pot for sensitivity?

I’m building the Parasit Theremin Fuzz pedal and I would like to use an external pot for the sensitivity adjustment rather than the trim pot. I have 200 K trim pots around, which is what is spec’s, but the only external pot I have is for 250 K. Do you think this will work?

It's just being used as a variable resistor, so 250k will work fine
