Pedal Industry Faux Pas

Is that a thing? We had one here that did that for years, I didn't realize it was a widespread thing.

They'd go out of business then reopen with a different name a week later. Went on for years.
I typically see them perpetually having a "going-out-of-business" "everything must go" "blowout". That's taking it to the next level by reopening with a different name.

The cognitive dissonance of writing "I know not every corner is as positive as this forum" in a page that is 7-pages of shit talking is... a lot.
Act like shit, get shit.

Really so many small builders and hobbyists I know and am in contact with are very helpful and nice, and very passionate about their work.

But there's also so many people "in the business" lying about their pedal circuits, ignoring or treating their customers like crap, not knowing what they're doing at all, offering shoddy build quality or lack of QC etc.

Careful, there are rumors of cognitive disassociation on the loose. I have no idea what it means, but it sounds scary

It's OK @fig it's one of them there fancy scales that people like Steve Vai use
Apparently some people think minor pentatonic's not good enough so will use A minor cognitive dissonance instead.

All the chords look like this. They look weird but it's nothing to be scared of.

Oh yeah…I have that bottle pedal I never opened!
You mean you don't want/need it? I kinda want one, but the hoops you have to jump through to build one are too much. I can buy all the files needed to get the PCBs but then I/we have to play $50-100 a month to earn the right to buy the required custom parts.
