I out together the Persica tonight and I'm having some ultra bizarre issues. Plugged it in and the Volume/Fuzz pots both only controlled volume level, zero fuzz. The Tone pot worked as normal. I thought I might have an IC problem, so I removed the TL022 first and bam! Fuzz! But the Fuzz dial is clean until about 2:00, then there is a very dynamic fuzz signal. If I play lightly, barely any fuzz, play rough and I get sweet gain.

I actually really like the pedal as is, since the "fuzz" is almost an overdrive and it's incredibly dynamic. I'm just confused as to what the issue is.

Check for a short between pins 1&2 of the tl022

Part of me doesn't want to fix this because it sounds great, the other part of me wants to have the circuit function 100%
