Dear diary,

today I interconnected a number of components following a classic and slightly confusing recipe. But then, inspired by UtilityBeltFX, I added a clean blend because BASS and things became even more confusing.

For toan and blend I used pots with solder lugs and wired them to the boards, so things where a bit unstable on the inside and gloriously symmetrical on the outside. As usual, connecting the LED with the right polarity was the hardest part.

Despite being tiny and green The Buff'n'Blend is not just an add-on to the muffin fuzz, it's actually the main circuit. Realizing this was emotionally taxing.

Regarding the enclosure, since it's 1984+41, this time I went for a plain matte army green one, forgoing any graphics.

This device sounds epic. Much satisfaction. On bass, there's obviously a limit to how much clean signal you can mix before you get steamrolled back to unfuzziness by the other instruments in a live context, but I like to think that the clean blend makes things a bit punchier and pleasingly, irregardlessly unironical in general.

Time to go half-ass "Time is running out" by Muse. Увидимся позже.
