Proposition Distortion compression jfet switch?

I am building another PPCB Proposition. In the build docs it says the jfet compressor can be jumpered for more dynamic range. How would one go about wiring this to a switch to go between compression and bypassed compression?

Tie pin 2(source) to it's pad on the PCB(vref)
Take pin 1(drain) and 3(gate) to one side of a dpdt on on. Pads for 1 and 3 to center lugs. Jumper the lugs on the opposite side of the jfet.



Just waking up but I think that will work. Hopefully won't pop since you're tied to vref already

Or you coud replace R10 with perhaps a 50k pot (wired as a variable resistor) for continuous control over amount of compression. When all the way up at 50k, the JFET is almost as good as being out of the circuit. And you can get anything else in between too.
