To me it’s not so much ugly as it is boring. I’m sure it’s a lovely playing guitar but I feel no need to pick it up and play it.

You know, for how much PRS has changed/influenced the guitar industry I'm not sure why they seem focused on copying what is arguably the beginning of the industry. Maybe when the creativity well runs dry you make these sorts of moves? Or is it just arrogance?

I am keeping any eye on the new Power electrics as a Taylor offshoot. I suspect they'll be unobtainium spendy but they do look kinda interesting.

not sure why but PRS has never appealed to me. The only time I saw a PRS and thought it was cool was in the movie "Airheads" and it had the dragon inlay. I hate the bird inlays. They anger me for some unknowable reason

Wow. That's even uglier than their Strat. It has a similar squashed jelly baby aesthetic to the '70s Ovation electrics. Then stick a hideous headstock which has no relationship to the body on it.
