Whoah, almost missed it--Moonn is 21% off until the end of the month. Details on their socials:
Of course that would be like $7k with around 600 PCBs and a rough estimate of $12 on average (plenty of $8 boards, but also plenty of FV-1 projects and stacked board projects)It's kind of cool that they offer a "buy everything" option.
(EVERYTHING!!! | Moonn Electronics (bigcartel.com)).
PedalPCB take note.

He would need his own custom selection. "the 20 boards you haven't built yet."
You know damn wellWhaaaa..........what am I getting pulled into here??![]()
That sucks, I've only had good experiences. I too could do without the tape or at least less of it. Hope he's doing well now.I really hope he has his shit together. Last time I ordered from him, he really dropped the ball. Took three months to finally get my order. Even then, the packaging left a lot to be desired. He literally wrapped some of the boards with masking tape to keep them together. Left a rather sticky mess on the boards. Just wasn't very professional. Granted, he was very apologetic and admitted he was having some personal issues. Really felt sorry for him.
That said, if he's doing better then I sure hope he not only follows through with orders but ships them in a professional manner that doesn't result in potentially damaging the product. Just isn't good for anyone really. I like his stuff....but really want to make sure that orders are done right.
I'm sure most people have had good experiences...at least I hope that's the case. Mine was just a weird one I guess. But it definitely showed me that they guy was having some problems. I know a thing or two about depression, which is what he mentioned in some of our correspondence. Definitely not fun and really hard to cope with at times. So, yeah, I really feel for the guy and hope he is doing much better. That sucks, I've only had good experiences. I too could do without the tape or at least less of it. Hope he's doing well now.
Healing vibes to him and anyone else struggling.I'm sure most people have had good experiences...at least I hope that's the case. Mine was just a weird one I guess. Just grabbed a Drömtydning too after debating over it for a couple of weeks! This old thread suggested a TL022 or LM358 for the MC33172P, or I might just roll the dice on these. Thanks for pointing this out, finally picked up the Drömtydning (after figuring out what "1044" was, and if the weird op amp could be replaced by something easier to get) and also some other stuff (Interstellar Overdrive clone board and the Sojus 31 because it sounds weird).
I think it's kinda funny how the descriptions are all long and rambling but the build docs are sooo basic sometimes having to decode things. Lol.Yeah, Nils definitely does a cool thing. He’s got his own flavour in what he stocks, and I love the build docs!
I've built almost all of his dba boards and they're all alot of fun. I Recommend. If I ever get caught up, I'd love to build some of the Moonn DBA stuff
