question about the Comprehensive Drive schematic

In the schematic for the Comprehensive Drive, what are the P1 P2 and P3 points near the output for the pedal?

I'm fairly certain that those are the footswitch connections that handle buffered bypass.

That's correct.

P2 is switched between either P1 (Active) or P3 (Bypassed).

It's an arrangement somewhat similar to the Klon bypass switching.

Is the switching on the pedal using a buffered bypass? I did not realize that was the case.

Yes, it has a Cornish style buffer.
