Question for anyone with an FY-2 (PPCB Friendly Fire Fuzz) on hand…

Can anyone test to see how it does with a buffer in front of it?

I lent both of my FY-2 builds out, and I don’t have parts on hand to breadboard it, so I can’t test it myself currently.

It sounds the same, but you lose the guitar volume knob clean-up feature. At least, that's how it behaves with mine. The daughterboard is just an after-boost, cuz the original circuit barely achieves unity gain.
