Recommend Me a Clean PreAmp

Trying to stay away from tubes for everything before the power amp, so no tube preamps.

I have never heard anyone say this before.

I'm simply not ready for a tube project, especially since I've never played through a tube amp before. As reference I am primarily a bass player so guitar is a distant secondary, I just want to build a small board that I can plug into my bass head's power amp without needing my HX Stomp to play.

Tube preamp into a power amp is a pretty common use case for my pedals. Just saying.

I'm obviously biased here as I make money from selling these things, but hearing someone say they don't want a tube preamp makes me sad.

When I do get to it, I do want to build your Steddi Go! project, solid state front end with tube backend.

I'm a big fan of the Benson Preamp, an easy build with the PPCB Son of Ben.
