Red Llama using Madbeans Snarkdoodle PCB in a 1590B Tayda Copper Hammer enclosure. This is my first experience with Madbeans (despite the fact that I've known about them for such a long time).

I instantly liked the tone of this one, and it's a different feel than most of the ODs I have. A fuzzy breakup for sure, without sounding like an all out fuzz. The original circuit Tube Sound Fuzz seems aptly named.

Such a simple, low part, overdrive.

I've only built the AionFX Red Lllama, but I have a few other versions etched from Effects Layouts I want to try. It's a neat pedal for sure!

This one has a hi-cut knob, should help manage the treble.

To me the treble isn't the issue, it's just too woofy in the bass. It sounds great on the unwound strings. I would like to mod one for a tighter bass.
