I've sold a few with "X clone" in the title without Reverb intervention. The only one they shut down so far was an OCD. Apparently Mike Fuller was able to trademark a psychological disorder.

Huh, it's a bit weird to see this many folks unfamiliar with Warm Audio but I guess we all make our own internets.
They're an EXTREMELY popular manufacturer of affordable versions of extremely high-end studio equipment - their stuff is near-ubiquitous in project studios, and generally reviews favourably (85% of the sound for 25% of the price etc). Their neve channels/pultecs/etc are 'around.'
The pedal thing seems like a weird side-hustle for a company that's doing extremely well in another area and I would imagine that it's just a pet project for them. Part of their deal is copying the aesthetics/panel layouts/interface of the original item, so it is very much in keeping with the rest of their products to make a decent facsimile of the extremely expensive original down to the case and or knobs.

Just saw this gut shot posted at TGP. Looks like they used those 1n34p silicon work alike diodes.

The zen drive clone is a dick move IMO. I'm obviously OK with clones or I wouldn't hang out here but copying the aesthetic that closely and commercially selling them is pretty shitty.

I've got the world's smallest violin for Sean at Lovepedal since he lied about ripping off Paul C's Timmy for his Amp Eleven, charged outrageous amounts of money for various Electra distortions, and released I dunno how many tweaked versions of the AMZ Son of Screamer (Eternity) without acknowledging Jack Orman. Maybe he came up with the idea of a bufferless tube screamer on his own, but I somehow doubt it. People using other people's contributions (especially free ones) then gooping the boards to hide it go directly on the shitlist in my book.
