You should live where I do. Craigslist is a waste of time. I just did a search for “guitar” in a 75 mile radius. Nada.
Finally found about 15 guitars/amps/etc. at 150 mile radius. Nothing at 100 miles either.

I think the first time I saw one was that super soft(former hairdressers iirc) half-industrial band Orgy ... then in guitar player ... I wanted an aluminum one but it's the same kind of desire I have for one of those lucite guitars ... I'd get the damn thing and hate every second of ownership

I bought one about 20 years ago. I HAD to have it. The body was wrapped in blue dyed ostrich leather. And it looked SOOOO COOL!!! But the guitar itself was a total jankfest of quality issues. I sold it immediately and the guy that bought it told me he broke the neck off the very next day.

It was like this. Only blue. I can't seem to find a pic of the blue one. it had a different leather texture from the ostrich quills.
