SBE J113 and Some Amazon JFETs…

Title says it all. Hilarity and hearache sure to ensue.

I’m going to take the breadboard I harvested from “The Prototyper” and set up a JFET matcher and make some sets for my Super Phase 135 project.

I got some 2N5458 and 2N5457 from Amazon. We’ll see how they turn out.

I've had good luck with MMBF5457s (SMD version of 2N5457) from Amazon, but would be wary of through-hole JFETs from there. Definitely a good idea to test them with a transistor tester or a multimeter + Greatly Improved JFET Matcher vero.

They were so cheap for the amount I got and I had a gift card so it’s no sweat if they are junk.
