Significance of 420?

Interesting coolant technique!

I've got the diamond hole saws for drilling but I'd just dunk the bit or the bottle in a bucket of water to keep it cool and evacuate the chips.
☝️ this method taught me the importance of wearing gloves while working with glass..

For the finer details like shaping and those little percolator holes, I submerged the glass in a little trough and used an 1/8" rotary tool with diamond bits and an extendo-snake attachment.
The first bit that I bought was made in the U.S.A. and the technique for drilling holes in tile, glass, mirrors, etc. was included in the instructions. The next set I bought was because I lost the first bit -- no instructions but very inexpensive.

***Just a caveat, antifreeze is very close to sugar in chemical composition and is sweet tasting. Some pets will be attracted to it and will lick it up. It's very toxic and can be fatal, so be sure to clean up well after using.***

I have the vise setup so the bottle is completely immobile and I don't have to hold it. If I did have to hold it I'd use my welding gloves. I don't weld but I make some bodacious bbq's, and the welding gloves keep the heat out. You can actually pickup hot coals on the ground and toss them back into the pit!!!

Nice- I held the glass in my left and the drill in my right, then came in at a slight angle that I tried to maintain while rotating my drilling hand to create a tapered hole that was easier on my cheap-o bits. I tried a more rigid setup a couple times but those just made a mess, although I wasn't using your anti-freeze sorcery!*

How's that old saying go.. "There are many ways to smoke a cat?"

I have never smoke or ingested it, I think it Stinks when exhaled.
I have seen the other side of it when paranoa is involved with my daughters Ex who was griowng it.
Lets just say he is no longer with us!!!
The laws are pretty conservative regarding it where you are as well, right?

That's those high thc zero cbd strains that cause the paranoia and anxiety. Nasty stuff. That's WHY I developed my own strains. Smells fruity instead of skunky too.

I picked up 4 PCBs for 20% off.
(& got some utility stuff)

Wish I'd 4-seen it coming, I just bought a bunch of what-the-heck stuff during the previous 15%.

As for the Jazz Cabbage — it's finally legal here and I no longer have any interest in it.

I'd prefer my 83-year-old mother to be gung-ho for ganja than tethered to tobacco; I continue to encourage her to switch...

Never partaken personally, but you do you and I’ll contact high that coupon thanks. Funny enough, KY just legalized medical marijuana last week. Surprised they didn’t wait until today, but I guess they were just getting that preemptively on the books so 4/20 could be fully celebrated🤣. But my question is, WHY is it 4:20, why is that the significant time of day?
There are many stoner myths about the etymology of the 420 term; the most generally accepted one is that a group of teens in the late 70's gathered together at a local park in the northern California coastal area after school at 4:20 in the afternoon every day to partake before going home for dinner and that 'it just spread' until it became a world wide event.

Awesome DIY smoke-hose there, @RetiredUnit1!

Makes me think back long ago to what I used to build before I got into all this pedal nonsense:

Quite a few models accumulated.. The mouth-piece still needs improvement, but this was my favorite- simple design, comfortable size, and very smooth hit due to the percolating test tube in there:

Snapped a couple pics, after cleaning with "fast orange" which you can find in the automotive section. Melts everything including pine tar and bong grunge.

That's honestly where I am at this point in life myself.

It used to be an all day every day thing. I used to joke that if I showed up to work not stoned they'd think I was high.

These days it's just something to wind down at the end of the day and try to get some sleep. It's more of a nuisance during the daytime while I'm trying to actually focus and get things done.
I was at that point for a while, now I'm at the "ouch I can't effing move" point. And it's either I take a hit, or 1/4 of a tramadol the doc gives me for arthritis pain, or both!

IIRC . . . . . back before the turn of the century, (don't remember the year), there was a movement to have a "Pot Day" in a half-way organized protest/sit-in/celebration to bring about a greater awareness of how safe pot is compared to alcohol in order to push a "Legalize Pot" thing. On one of the campuses in Ann Arbor, MI people gathered to openly smoke pot outdoors in public. It happened to take place on 4/20 and annually after that. And if I'm not mistaken, it's how the whole 4/20 thing started. I remember the news cycle about it was a big deal.
