SOVTEK BIG MUFF?

Hello comrades I am curious about the Sovtek big muff fuzz I was wondering what the best way to go about recreating one… should I use the muffin fuzz with the green Russian specs? I’m skeptical I was just wondering is really only 40pf on a few capacitors really the difference? And also shouldn’t it call for Russian diode? I’ve never heard the real pedal in person I wonder if there is even a noticeable difference…I just have heard so much about the Sovtek and I watched a video I think the nyc BMP I bought in 2005 is more to my style.. but I wanted to make one for a buddy of mine who had a green Russian.

Wow I think the only thing the Russian has for it is that it’s green and different and I care more about sounds then the cosmetics… the nyc bmp sounds much nicer to my ears… I do like the ram head but I don’t see specs for the rams
Head unless it’s referred to as something else in the building documents.

The Ram's head is here under the heading "V2 "73" RAMS HEAD BIG MUFF PI - First Circle Face version".

I think it's the "stomp 75" in the build docs, but a couple of minor differences. I built this one to the specs in the link. Quite happy with it.

Well yes. See the stomp 75 in the muffin fuzz build docs. That’s the rams head.
