Thanks man very appreciated!Hells Yeah! Great work man!
Maybe try a little more light flooding the gut shot and you would be golden I think. It shouldn’t take a lot and post editing does help but still not a substitute for good lighting. It’s all digital so take a bunch until you find the right one. And not every pedal seems to photograph well from the same angle so play with the angles of both your lighting and camera/phone. See what you come up with.Im still new at taking photos the right way. Thanks for the advise! I bought a photo booth thinking itll make the pictures better.
Im thinking i still need to edit them afterwards!
Im going to take your advise next time! I had both lights on the outside of the photo booth maybe next time situate them so the pedal has direct light! You have to go for it! This circuit is awesome dude!
Thank you for the nice words man! Coming from you that means a lot!looking and sounding very cool! Nice work! I am with you, all space themed stuff gets my eyes right away.
By halftones what do you mean? Im still very new to this haha I can tell you this when i did it in Adobe Illustrator i used 3 or 4 colors from what i remember and just messed around with the length of each colors gradient...does that make sense? I feel like im not making sense I basically added a purplish color with the orange red and yellow. I made the purple the most prominent. I really hope this answers something. How did you do the gradient in a UV print without halftones?
I'm curious, did you have this printed at Tayda or elsewhere?By halftones what do you mean? I had this printed at Tayda! And i just used the regular gradient tool and they accepted it! The only thing they kicked back at me was i had a few masks that werent using the Roland Swatch of white they ask for. Other than that it printed fine! i say if you have a design with gradient in it go ahead and submit it!I'm curious, did you have this printed at Tayda or elsewhere?
I think @Bricksnbeatles may be asking about halftones because if you did have this printed at Tayda, they insist on solid color vectors which makes lovely smooth gradients like these impossible.
Your artwork and build look wonderful btw! Very well done!
That’s interesting, thanks! Having more design flexibility/freedom is awesome!I had this printed at Tayda! And i just used the regular gradient tool and they accepted it! Dude coming from you it means alot! Still look up to you man, your guides all lead me here! Looking forward to your next vero build!Dude, your build skills have gotten much better so quickly. Great looking build!
Go for it dude! Would love to see what you come up withThat’s interesting, thanks! Having more design flexibility/freedom is awesome!
If i remember correctly didnt you have a gradient in the Oops Wrong 808? How did you get that printed last time?Definitely interesting to see that they accepted the gradient as-is. Good to know since that should save me some time with some things I was trying to do
As you mentioned, gradiented lines. I have other designs I’ve been working on with halftone gradients (example of a halftone gradient below, since you asked before), but it’s a much more tedious process so if color gradients are being accepted by Tayda now, that’s great. If i remember correctly didnt you have a gradient in the Oops Wrong 808? EDIT: Sorry just looked you didn't use gradient on the lines themselves but used a gradient pattern GENIUS!
