Squeeling Plexitone (Tayda)

Built a 3 button Plexitone using Tayda mobo but squeels when turning up any combination of gain/volume/boost. Discovered that the issue resolves when putting a pedal with a buffer in from of it.

Any pull down resistor or any other easy mod to add so the pedal functions w/o squeeling on its own?

Build yourself a little buffer on vero and drop it in there.
