Tear Jerker wah-10k pot

I have an expression pedal I am going to use with my tear jerker wah build, because I am putting all the controls accessible in its own pedal.

But the pot is a 10k pot, and the build asks for a 100k pot. Is there anyway to adjust the tear jerker board to use a 10k pot?

Not easily. 10K will load down the 1st stage, reducing the volume and wah sweep range. May also introduce some distortion too. You can install a unity gain buffer between the 1st stage and the 10K pot.
