You know what wouldn't suck is an extra week for contest closing. Made my first PCB layout via JLCPCB, but did not expect DHL to be $30 more than global. Oh well. Ordered and will post in here regardless, but trying to keep the incentivized motivation going.
 
Built this IC BM in an old compressor enclosure. Faceplate is coming to cover the shit but probably won't make it by the 15th. I'll see if I can do a quick demo soon.

Low pass instead of the normal tilt control. I need to play it more but I'm enjoying it. Never played the IC version before

Well, it's been an adventure, but at least I got a submission in. Received pcbs yesterday. PSA - do not cut the black standoffs on the bottom of rotary switch off (I was trying to save height and make sure the pots reached the board.) Those things hold the switch together! Of course it was the last one I had so I had to harvest one from another build. Desoldering nightmare!

So this is Harry's Muff. Once upon a time on a forum where people love fuzz there was a limited run of a muff derivitive mad for the doom crowd. It was bad as could be and was essentially the lovechild of a pharaoh and lstr. Input gain selector, clipper switch and tons of gain. I recreated it in this and added the tone control from the BYOC muff that does mid cut, flat, boost and cuts out tonestack altogether. In the soundlcip it goes throuh gain settings with tonestack bypassed before switching to LED mode and then over to scoop, and back to 1n914 and through the other modes. I didn't really highlight the hi/lo switch but it definitely opens up the low gain settings. If I had more time I'd make a better audio playthrough with a looper rather than a quick go at it and some appropriate Bush riffs. Harry's Muff definitely does not suck I'll be doing another revision of he pcb to iron out a few flaws. Making a pcb for the first time was a lot of fun and definitely makes me appreciate the work these guys put into making awesome layouts and the patience needed to not make stupid mistake like backward pots.

Same as the last muffin (Evil muffin)I built, (Not so much anymore.🤣)but this one is for me just a different enclosure.)

Update:
After a few tweaks and added mods/circuit, changed some component values this thing has become quite the bastardized muff, definitely ugly as sin inside, after multiple surgeries and experiments.
