I can see that. Post-structuralism (if you’ll grant that Baudrillard falls into that category) as a whole can be pretty disorienting. Barthes is another who can really upend things.

Yes I'm in Krakow. I know nothing of amps. He told me it's based on a Princeton but with a Master volume. He brought it over, it sounded awesome, I bought it on the spot. I have no frame of reference but when I played a newish Deluxe Reverb and a Dr.Z Maz 18 I didn't feel they were better. Also my amp looks like my grandma's furniture. Bonus!

Well I'd say your amp would last longer than a Deluxe Reverb RI and probably sound better than a Dr Z (I've owned a few and played many). There are a few things in that schematic which make me guess that your amp would sound like a small BF Fender but be more focussed - ie not have too boomy a low end - and more mids on tap (the decent size Mids pot) and therefore it would most likely be a pretty good all-round amp. If the builder has his grounding sorted and good transformers then it should be an amp to last you for a long time.

One day I would like to visit Krakow and Warsaw. I have already visited the Czech Republic, Croatia and Slovenia, so only a few dozen more Eastern European countries to go! We have a lot of Poles and Croatians living here so at least I know how to order a piva or two.

It sounds pretty big. Lots of low end but the EQ is effective. It's also very quiet. Just the usual speaker and tube noise floor when you crank it up. I'm very happy.
I think he used quality components. Anyway it's hand wired, easy to fix in the future if things go south.
