The Tone Geek BFK Centaur

Finished up this full size Klone for my board this morning… Everything went pretty smooth. Sounds really good too..View attachment 120996View attachment 120997

That's a very tidy build that I'd be proud to sign off on were it mine. I want to rotate your footswitch 90 degrees counterclockwise so that the keyway is at 6 o'clock — the way God and our forefathers intended — but I'm sure you had a good reason.

same..... but the way I wired it made more sense to rotate the lugs 90 because the spacing of the 6 wires was a bit wide... I think it made them a little cleaner.. If I had run it normal I think it would have been looking like an octopus attacking the switch..

Ah, that makes sense. Even knowing the sideways keyway was there, I admired the nice curves in the wiring... and still do.

just don't do it.....You'll regret it that they all have nice uniform colors and will look pretty good in a build.

Of course I'm going to have to now. I typically do KOA Speer MFS for the circuits I know I love, but as with just about everything, there are things I would change about them. They don't make some relatively common values, and their color bands aren't as easy to read as some others.
