Today’s Eclipse- anyone else in the path?

We had 80% coverage. It changed the lighting here (like someone dimmed the sun a bit). It's getting back to normal here, brightness-wise. I got to see totality in 2017. Nature is neat.

We were blessed with cloud cover here because you know, Pittsburgh competing with Portland for rain days.
But I did see the face of Pittsburgh… on TV, staring at the Eclipse, wearing a Covid mask, but not wearing any protective eyewear!

Also Ottawa area here, tried to take a bunch of pictures with my phone through a pair of eclipse glasses:

It got noticeably dark and cold even before maximum obfuscation, but it's still so remarkable that you can't even bear to look unaided at only 2% of the light of the sun. I made a pinhole camera as well and at the peak there was barely enough light to make a good projection.

Southern Ontario. North shore of Lake Erie. 100% view, mostly cloud free. Clear skies for the corona. A splendid day indeed. We had some friends drive down from Toronto. They brought the kids. We had a lovely picnic. The temperature drop was freaky. And the four minutes of darkness was a trip. Dark enough for the street lights to turn on.
But the highlight of the day was getting my latest Pedalpcb order in the mail this morning. So now I can get back to building. Woo hoo!

Totality here in Montreal, on a beautiful day. There were thousands of students out and about on the McGill campus, and there were kiosks handing out free goggles. Good times. I was slightly surprised that the sun came back out from behind the moon, tbh.
