It seems like UAD is really reaching for complete control of the high end digital market... anyone have any hands on use with their new DAW, Luna? I have an Apollo Twin Quad at the studio, and its main job is basically to process the UAD plugins, which does create a nice flow and balance of processing, but I rarely track through their Pre/comp sims, except for vocals basically. It seemed like after sinking an additional 300$ on some plugins on blackfriday, that the whole system is a little of a sunk cost fallacy once you've fully committed almost two grand into something that only has 2 ins and 4 outs, with only 8 addable ADAT ins and no outs.
Love their plugins and their sounds, but I'm also increasingly weary of their reach into other corners of the market. Don't love the prices that their name continues to carry.
