Ill be building one more set of these OD's to put in my rack's patch mate to switch in and out via midi....clean boost Klone , Uber Drive crunch , Wonder drive OD1, and LGSM with green LEDs for OD2...they all play well with my rack pre amps and this rig...
Changed the Vet30/GB combo out for a ET65/Invader WGS , has more of that Marshall crunch vs the V30/ GB that were dark with this amp... Mesa 4x12 with V30's had a mid spike i couldn't dial out....Blackstar sounds like a hot rodded 900 with midi and a power scaling. OD2 channel is very compressed , clean/ super crunch/ and OD1 is this amps strengths..put new JJ tubes and biased correctly ...sound fantastic now , but I'm used to distortion coming from diodes and i do believe IC's in the JMP-1 kinda like this amp.
