instead of having a 3 band EQ like most preamps and fancy dirt pedals it uses 3 unique tone controls to make a semi paremetric EQ/ of sorts. How this works is the low end is controlled by an 11 Rotary depth knob which selects the low frequency response and can go from lows super cut to entirely unchanged and the tone control rolls off/on the high end while leaving the mids intact. Then the texture knob acts as a low/high mid control that adds harmonic content. So if you roll the tone back and crank the depth/ texture it will boost the lows the most and if you roll back the depth and crank the tone it focuses on the highs. This allows it to go from completely transparent to cutting or boosting the lows/mids/highs depending on how you set it.
It has 10 Rotary clipping (Select) settings as well as an 11th clean boost clipping bypass that is incredibly versatile.
It also has a 5V to 15v external trimmer knob.
