Finally finished this guy after waiting for a few parts to get ordered.. Decent triple pedal.. The vibe is decent but not face melting… still gotta play with adjustments a bit..

The kicker for me is the fat switch on the fuzz. I don't recall any silicon FF that could do the roar of Hendrix's live recordings. This does it in spades and also does the guitar volume down better than most Si fuzz's. Some cool tricks on the Vibe side and the overdrive does some cool drive sounds especially at the lower end of the pot and interacts well with the guitar volume. Take note of the knob settings (admittedly rummage sale knobs). Gains are down on both the FF and the Marshall.

I worked up the graphics in gimp and printed on waterslide… it’s pretty decent.. The vibe is decent and the fuzz is a good medium gain… not crazy about the plexi part of the circuit… it’s a decent build

Man I’d really like to have some sort of setup or way to do demos…. I always play my pedalboard through my PC but I have nothing for recording and certainly don’t have a capable webcam… The webcam I have is from literally 15 years ago.. and….I sold the pedal the same week.. lol.. I do want to build a couple of his other pcbs that interest me… I have a goal/want to figure out a way to just stream YouTube and build PCBs… I’m already sitting there doing it for hours on the weekends… Why not just stream it and see who shows up..

Honestly I'd rather see you demo this thing because you're so good at this. I needed a brain drain project in this place at that time so I'm biased (or not, I plug into this thing and think it still sounds very cool).

And I think swelchy's points are well taken. There's nothing earth shaking about this little build, but damn sam, this is still interesting territory in a same/same world.

(1) I need to know about those pot covers, man.

(2) I have the stand-alone vibe from that circuit, built a good ways back now. I don't find it to be a great vibe, partly because the pots behave weirdly at their extremes... and not in a good way. That said, it makes an insanely good "tone conditioner" (like some people dig what the EP-3 preamp does) if you roll the vibe controls all the way down. Try it on some clean tones on the neck pickup (I know you're a fellow single-coil guy, so I don't have to specify neck, single-coil.)

The pot covers on my build? I 3d print them.. I drew a file for regular pots and for dual gang.. I can send you a pile if you want some... Cost me nothing to squirt a bunch out... I have a few different colors of filament sitting around as well... have some metallic looking blue, black, white, pink and probably a couple other colors.

What’s the Plexamp and Vibe based on? Are they original circuits or like a plexi-drive and the depths? I was considering the dark side of the moon one at one point but already have all the pedals in it. Would still look cool though not nearly as cool as Schu-Tones

This was put together by guitarpcb to be a Hendrix in a box.... plexi style preamp, silicon fuzz and a LDR Univibe.. All in all it sounded pretty good.

Very cool of you to offer, but I'm afraid I'd get addicted and become a nuisance about them. When/if I get a 3D printer, I may hit you up for the files. They look great. In this case, the ridges actually make the printed items look better.

I looked it up. Plexamp is a basic opamp overdrive with tone controls tacked on and the Vibe looks similar to the BBE Soul Vibe and VL Micovibe
