I’d appreciate any guidance/tips on properly adjusting a wah pedal. I’ve seen a fair number of comments here that adjusting the travel of the pot in relation to the rack is essential for getting the best tone and performance, but I don’t believe I’ve actually seen any specific tips.
Of course, looking online, the instructions are all basically the exact same as come with most wah pots you buy - “turn the pot all the way counterclockwise with the toe of the wah pressed all the way down, engage the rack, disengage the rack and turn the pot back one tooth, and then reengage the rack and fix it in place”.
Is that really all there is to it or are there other more refined methods/suggested ways of going about this?
