What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

I would be very curious to know how much metal printing at JLC for such a part would cost. I always found Hammond to be stupidly expensive for what they were, and I'd be very interested in more convenient shapes like yours.

Womp. Looks like their limitations for metal are 10x10x10cm... too long. A B enclosure is also too large (~11cm long).

A couple of Zonks. ( Let's call them prototypes, since I messed up something up and had to order new boards.)

What about the CNC machining service?

No idea what it's capabilities (or costs) might be though.

I learned Maya back in 2004, and it's really all I'm familiar with. and NURBS modelling is extremely obtuse in that program. I can hack some things to look the way I want, and then I export it all as poly OBJs, and Cura can handle it for printing. But I think I need SolidWorks to actually get a handle on how to make engineering-ready projects.

What program did you design it in? I could probably take whatever file you have and convert it to a STEP if you wanted to try submitting for a CNC milling quote. I've only had a couple parts milled by JLC but they were reasonably priced and did a good job.
Thanks for the offer. It is 100% polys from Maya (my previous comment about NURBS seems deceptive in hindsight), but I'll send it your way if you think it might work.

Lounge floor not workbench but ripped pedal board to bits at start of summer and just got around to rebuilding it. The mc6 I’ve had for 3-4 months now and not used. Which is daft.
This eve was the first stage of rebuilding … wires to be added

Apologise for only having two pedals I built myself on it … (if it helps I fixed the ground error on the PF101 rather than to have to go back to oz, and I had a look inside the colourbox, broke and fixed it…)

How do you like that Colour Box? And the low pass filter? I have always wanted the Moogerfooger. Cool board!

Bass boat glitter

I remember seeing a guy in a bar band playing a 70's Les Paul Deluxe in blue glitter (this was back in the 80's) and thinking it was one of the coolest Paul's I'd ever seen. The cream binding didn't really jive, nor did the pickup mounts for the mini buckers but it still rawked.
