What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

Well my wife had surgery on her foot friday. I am taking a couple weeks off work to take care of her. Shes on oxys and sleeps most of the time. So seemed like as good of time as any to sort germs. Got 200 of these to go through.
Good on you for doing that. I hope that she has a fast and smooth recovery.

Nice thing is oregon started this paid leave thing and it qualifies. While doesnt pay as well as working i think we’ll be fine without having to burn up vacation time. Ive got a thorough honey do list, a couple of kids and plenty of pedal projects to keep busy. Today i spent a couple hours “organizing” the pedal bench while the kiddos were at school. My bench is always a disaster and I’m sure once i build a few it’ll be right back there :)

Because the ultrasharp had no stand, and the arm stand has nowhere to mount at the final destination, I'm plumbing new depths of unneeded engineering.

The poor 30" Apple Cinema display was barely displaying at all, and having an even worse spare, tore it down to see if I could reuse its stand. Turns out that nub of a bracket bolts into a panel on the inside of the monitor housing which runs the whole height to make it structural. And it's about the width of a standard VESA bracket. Just need to enlist my nephew and his metal brake to form up something.

And despite having the PSU integral, unlike Apple's external brick, it weighs exactly the same as the cinema display… very weird. So mounting and adjustment should be near as close as makes no difference.

Only concern is that it's might be sitting a little further forward, but maybe we can get creative with the metal work

TB+Muff combo pedal has been on my bench for too long. Tried BAT Revelation for muff circuit first, but didn’t pass signal. Next tried OK doomer and got it going for a while. Should I go trying IC muff next?
Maybe Ionosphere?

You build a Mountainking Megalith yet? How about a Hyperion?

I like the IC muff better than any transistor muff I've built. But Ultra Stoner might be good driven with the TB. The one I built is pretty tame on its own, with ~600hfe BC109C.

Oh, left out some important stuff. I need muff circuit to combine with Tone Bender!

Megalith is my number one pedal, hard to use anything else. I havent’t tried Hyperion.

You should, it's great and simple too. That said, JHS pretended he created the circuit and then combined it with a TB in the Bun Runner.

Assembling this baritone guy for a friend, after he borrowed one of mine for a bit. The body and neck are both sprayed with a thin layer of nitrocellulose, so I'm gonna prime it with some shellac to give a base for a polyurethane top coat for durability

It's gonna be getting a pair of JMWRs, and I'll be adding series/parallel/split toggles at some point.
He's also wanting me to route for a middle pickup, but I'm trying to dissuade him 😅

I wouldn’t like to do that, either. It looks fantastic.
