What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

Yes. I'm trying to clear out all the Madbean 1590a projects I acquired several years ago. I didn't even realize how difficult 1590a stuff can be
I used to sell a handful of 1590A projects. But, I think the perception was that they were easy and should be priced like the bargain mini builds (donner, etc.). Should’ve just put ‘em in a 1590p and saved myself the trouble. That said, I really do enjoy the challenge of that enclosure size.

I've never heard of the 1590p. Sometimes I don't mind 1590a builds but I'm feeling annoyed about them currently 😅

Fixed my friend’s Stereo Memory Man this afternoon. Needed an LED and a new foot switch. As you can see, there was a bunch of corrosion inside because the LED was missing and caused a short. Said he had it at a local repair shop for over 6 months and they either didn’t know what to do or didn’t want to.

It was fun to play with for the afternoon.

My laborious enclosure finishing process is becoming a bottleneck…

Same here, too.

Your laborious enclosure-finishing process has become a bottleneck for me.

Here's a few other reasons why pedal-things aren't getting done at the FFFX atelier...

Friend’s turntable motor is having trouble. The wires in the first pic are insanely fine! Finer than a cat's or dog’s underhairs… the ones that float in the air and get in your eye.

Took us all morning to get out 4 bolts. Here’s why, a view of the grill from the inner fender-well:

Some of the bolts were so badly corroded they’d fused with their nuts.

Engine has since been pulled, getting car ready for the sandblaster.

Gotta figure out some wiring issues on my own car next.

Only pedals in my foreseeable future all involve gasoline.
