What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

Still need to stamp them, and try to make some demos
  1. Transistor Muff Fuzz into Großmaul
  2. 8-Bitar w/ octave kill
  3. Green Ringer -> Blue Clipper
  4. Random Number Generator w/ gate and stability switches
  5. Blue Clipper with a Hi/Open/Lo gain toggle

Stamped be thy name... These really need some volume to sound their best, so I'll have to wait til Thursday to do proper demos / build report

The Coda Effects Black Hole was supposed to be my first non-kit pedal build (and first Tayda order), but due to multiple issues along the way I've now built what, 9 pedals in between? But I'm finally getting on it now. Side jacks since I didn't know better back then.

It's the Fuzzdog Model T Mini and a LPB-1 that I'm going to try and just chain with separate footswitches LPB-1 -> Sunn, along with a bi-color LED to show which one is on. Hopefully it's not too bad of an off-board wiring catastrophe. The trimmer instead of pot worked out pretty well, I used single sockets that were aimed a bit towards the center and an extra resistor leg in one socket to reach the trimmer (it's soldered on, of course). Thankfully I had one 100k trimmer as extra - hopefully there won't be a build in my future with a missing trimmer now 👀

What's on my workbench...? Nothing except fresh varnish, because I'm just building a new workshop.
Can't wait to have it up and running soonish.

Great looking, so much space. I bought a thickness planer and a biscuit joiner so I can make tabletops out of 2x4's at about 20% the price of plywood.

You should seal that cement with something. Bunches of options. My garage floor was poured in 1949 and looks like a slaughter house floor now as it was never sealed. Ugh. My only option is opaque paint with some fine silica sand added. It's on the list.....

Cheers yes I have sealed the floor with a few coats of concrete sealer, good hint for sure.

So, I done did the shit- color cycling LEDs in the Pendulum. I also tried the flickering flame LEDs, but they're kinda meh

Here's a couple demos before I box it up. Only mods beyond the LEDs are a 324 for the LFO, GL5528 LDRs, and a C250k speed pot

Four years later, finally got 'round to building out my "Narrow Way" G-2/SS-02 circuit combo with added 3-band EQs in place of their respective tone controls. Over these last 4 years, I've been collecting the parts in box, in a van, down bit the river. But I couldn't find a 12mm C50K pot anywhere. I was going to use all 9mm pots, but the thickness of the walls was too thick for the pot nut to catch on the pots threads. :( But at least the 12mm pots provided room for the one 16mm C50K pot. (All 16mm pots would not fit width-wise.) And yes, I had to Dremel out the screw tang for the DC jack.
