What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

When trying to do the wiring of a vero build, I'm always like ...

Populated a Chalumeau, General Tso, Timbreman and a Good Vibes. Socketed the vactrols (with various socket measures which didn't quite work perfectly, but they will do), and realized I'm missing MPSA18's for the Good Vibes - I have ordered 15 from Tayda, but apparently used them all I guess. Thought I had ordered some from LCSC too, but apparently not - plus the downside with that site is that I don't think order summaries are available forever, and they are not included in the emails.

For the 1N34A in Timbreman I used something that I'm pretty sure I bought as 1N34A's from a small shady (as in "it sure looks legit but it's obviously just some guy who set up a shitty cheap storefront online 5 years ago") seller who also doesn't send out order confirmations. But it measured as a diode and seemed germanium (measurement changed if I heated a bit with my fingers), so it will probably do just fine.

I'll try to wire the clean switch mod into the chalumeau too.

Edit: Apparently 2N5089 might be a decent alternative for MPSA18, at least if it measures high-ish, maybe I'll check some of mine out or just wait (or do another Tayda order), I ordered some of the vactrols from Aliexpress someone said worked fine in their Good Vibes and those aren't here yet either. Will have to see.

Whoa I had no idea those were there
They are not always. They are often sold out.
Whoa. Thats super cheap- are they any good?
I wouldn't say that they are the most durable. I have never received one that was dead on arrival and they're definitely better than the planet waves ones I have had the misfortune of acquiring. But if your gear doesn't shift much then yea I think they're worth the $0.88

Unusual project on my bench (temporarily hanging for a photo):

Some of my work time got assigned to my university makerspace. I decided to try my hand at putting together a “prusacaster” for a professional development project. I’m almost done with the printing. I need to remove some epoxy squeeze-out and get everything wired up. I went a bit off script from the original design and required some strategic reinforcement under the bridge. Really hoping I lined everything up properly (plastic is a lot more slippery than wood when you try to clamp it!). I’m eventually going to try winding some pickups for it. Just need to build a winding machine.
