I dreaded the day of having to test a batch of 26 Rock Engines, but I gotta say it's been going pretty good for a total eclipse day. No fookups found so far, and I'm perhaps about 70% into my battery of tests.

The EQ frequency response plot on the screen contains 26 overlaid traces. Pretty damn tight for 5% capacitors, I think

Attacking a friends Silver Sky to redo all his Pots and wiring harness… Dang crazy expensive guitar to have a volume pot going whacky… PRS wanted $35 for one pot…. they use a 300k pot with whatever value resistor added to lug one to pull value to exactly 270k…. He’s changed pickups to Area 58’ stacked single coils anyway… straight up 250k CTS are going back in..
Shielded the cavity last night and waiting for pots to come in.

Currently working on AMZ splitter (2way). It's a mix of tht and smd. Fits up to 1590A (barely). The input socket is not mounted on the PCB.

The body is a Squier 40th Anniversary model and I pieced the rest of it from eBay and Amazon

The Rock Engine test jiggity. Not much to it. A few resistors (see if you can find them on the back), one cap, one LED, some wires. Pots, switches and jacks to taste.

Which kilo knobs are those? I don’t know of any that have an indicator that doesn’t extend to the edge?

Except for the indicator, they match the specs of the OEDL-50-3-5, but no idea what they actually are. Got em from SBP's b-stock section
