What’s on *YOUR* workbench?

That's pretty cool, did you mill the copper between the trace and the plane? It's a tricky to tell from the pic.
I did about 4 passes. In some spots there is copper left behind but they do not short circuit anything! In other spots the v bit cleared the copper out all the way!

EDIT: Now that im looking at it again it actually did not clear out any of the copper in between the planes and trace.

Did you mean to do the traces on the component side?

First ever milled pcb…if it’s not printed does that make it a mcb?

Did a quick continuity test and all the traces are perfect…now just have to see if my circuit design actually works 😆

I have been thinking of getting a small CNC machine and this is one of the things I have considered doing with it. Are you designing in KiCAD or something similar and then exporting to a DXF and into the slicer? It’s came out really nice.

Im designing in KiCAD and exporting the gerbers to FlatCAM (not my preferred CAD software but the only that I found that recognizes gerbers) to make the jobs for the cnc!

Home theater subwoofer started motorboatin. I've been expecting a cap job on it as it has been popping when turning on and off since I acquired it. Pulled apart this morning and saw this....where is c6? El kaboom!

When you have the maturity of a 12yr old, your mind always goes somewhere far away from electronics when someone says “motorboating”🤣😂

So close, waiting on female pin receptacles and some cap/trimmer values.

I’ll admit, I never thought to build multi-layer boards while they are still attached…but it makes so much sense! Must try sometime!
