Since I solidified my rig for the first time in a decade and am truly happy with it, I find I'm using pedals less and the ones I use the most I want relay bypass so I hopefully never have to worry about changing a footswitch. Also on modulation and delay pedals, momentary bypass makes for some cool and inspiring use of pedals.

I’ve had a bunch of projects on the back burner for a couple months but I’m finally getting around to finishing them. I got ten circuit boards that I finished the on-board wiring done in April. Here’s the first couple that are ready for paint and final assembly.
First is the Mahayana. This is the second one I’ve built but the first was for a friend. This one’s all for me.
Second is the Son of Ben. I added an On/Off/On switch to C10 to select between the no cap option, or a 4.7u or 10u cap.
I didn’t quite know where to drill for the switch but there is just enough room to stick it between the top two pots. As soon as I drill the hole, this one is ready for paint and assembly as well

Another related project that’s finally in progress. My tele build. All the parts are in. The last week has been assembly, drilling holes, finish sanding, and fret polishing. The neck is ready for finish and the body is ready for grain filling and stain.

I've had plenty of working PCBs come off my mill, but last night was probably the cleanest one I've ever made, required zero post-processing cleanup.

Wired up a personal Boneyard-modded Circulator last night. Love at first listen/build a few months ago when I made one as a gift. Rate low, everything else dimed and mode switch set left is such a pleasantly state-altering swoosh. Throb LED will be added when it's boxed up, natch

Put one a momentary relay bypass in my DM-2B from @dan.schumaker this morning. Only a handful left to install.

Laid this out yesterday.
The project required me to first lay it out mirrored, then once I had it all sorted I flipped it back — hence the numbering still on the IC.
The RefDes top one differs slightly from the Values bottom one because I realised after doing the RefDes I may have to lay the electrolytics down to make the board fit in the project.
I've scrounged the parts up from half-finished build laying around, ones I won't be picking back up any time soon (but will get done eventually). I even managed to find an IC socket which I thought I was completely out of.
When I got to the point where I needed a jumper, I didn't flinch nor hesitate — I put in the jumper.
I used to hate jumpers and would spend hours if not days trying to map out a layout that got rid of the jumper, even at the expense of a particularly long trace or poor component placement.
Didn't even know I'd gotten over it, but I guess I've jumpered over that mental hurdle.

today I sorted the toolbox that had been collecting Tayda orders last year ... 7 complete projects to finish and at least two more that are very close to complete (not counting the op amp muff or meathead I recently finished). I remember now why I swore off spending on hobbies this year. made it 6 months before I had to start buying stuff to fix up some amps I was looking to offload.
I bought a Helix floor a while back and it started getting flakey switch response and losing LED colors. Trying to fix it pretty much solved the switch problem but made the leds worse. Got hold of Line 6 and they wanted half the price of a new one (or in my case, about what I paid for it). Nay, nay, nay…I got the board from Full Compass. Replacement took about an hour (and about a thousand screws) and the switching system is now brand new. Nice!
