Soon you’ll have tools all over the place and a block of wood on your bench.finally got tired of tools being all over the bench and drilled some holes in a scrap piece of ambrosia maple in my woodshop.

Pretty decent gut shot on the thorpy site too
Is this for the Tactile Fuzz? Why does Thorpy have shots of his pcb on his site? I was thinking about buying the “Peacekeeper” pcb during the sale anyone tried it?
I want to do this for my router bits and drill bits but I've resigned myself to grabbing the wrong blown molded case every timefinally got tired of tools being all over the bench and drilled some holes in a scrap piece of ambrosia maple in my woodshop.
I'm gonna use 24g solid core wire now. I've thought about using the ribbon cable from love my switches but it's only 26 gauge and I like 24 gauge. (22 is a little thick for the holes if stranded, and a little too stiff if solid)Not quite as interesting as some of you guys. Trying to figure out how some of you guys use buss wire to the switch daughter board.
@bluedmc777 Ribbon cable from LMS. It's tinned and the insulation is sturdy enough that it feels stiffer than the 22 gauge silicone stuff I use elsewhere.I'm gonna use 24g solid core wire now. Sometimes the board is so close to the daughter board that I will be using pin headers for those from now on to.
Fuzzeses. Took a break from the Muffs to build a Two Sticks

@Robert, In this post, you mention the Bigger Muff motorboating and self oscillating. I'm not getting any of that on my build- it just sounds like a regular ol' Muff. So, I'm wondering if I need to build a a fetzer valve or Fumble or something, and if so does it feed or is it fed from the Muff?
This sounds so fucking goodonce again I'm a bonehead and I've inadvertently found a mod I like from a breadboarding error. this time it's a Buzzaround.

so I turned a MkIII build into a Buzzaround with the same MP38A transistors.
tried it, really liked it.
sounds even better than the MkIII, i thought.
captured a demo, even spent time trying to get a good mic position with multiple takes, and then after packing up and uploading, i realized i’d made an error.
- pin 1 of ‘balance’ control, not connected to ground.

whoops.
so i checked this and compared.
with pin 1 disconnected, this makes for a heckin huge increase in output volume and some extra girth too.
i like it though. it seems a lot fatter.
could even make it switchable and call it doom mode or something silly like that.
so here’s a demo with this ‘mod’
Are these repairs or to be rehabed sold?I left the house with one 488 last night to return to a customer and came home with 3 more

Repairs for customers. Once word got out, I've been swamped. Nobody owns one broken tascam. They all own at least 2Are these repairs or to be rehabed sold?
Interested.
That rig is hot! I prefer to save the disappointment for when the whole job is done though.Even after hundreds of builds I still rock every single board before I box it.

With that testing rig, I would too! So nice. Do you have a custom PCB in the test rig or is it just p2p?Even after hundreds of builds I still rock every single board before I box it.
