I whipped up this quick & dirty A/B box in about an hour. I might label it with a sharpie. Cost was just over $11, most of that was for the jacks.

Nice, I've been thinking about building an A/B/Y to split my signal to two amps or one or the other, guessing I would need a buffer in that?

Not necessarily. Amps have a high enough input impedance that loading is not a concern.
